New Jersey Prevented From Going Around PLCAA
Murphy and Platkin had better get used to losing. A recently enacted law, designed to allow the State to circumvent PLCAA and bankrupt the gun industry, just had a Preliminary Injunction issued against it. Allowing these kinds of lawsuits would almost certainly make firearms more difficult to obtain and much more expensive. The icing on the cake here is that the federal judge is a Biden appointee.

Its only January and the victories keep rolling in. 2023 is going to be a good year for the 2nd Amendment in New Jersey. Today’s TRO in the Siegel v. Reason to celebrate! The two major lawsuits challenging New Jersey’s misguided, if not malicious, Carry Killer law have been consolidated into the court of Federal Judge Bumb. Judge Bumb is the same judge that issued the initial TRO in the Koons v. Reynolds case just a few days ago. This is very good news.

TRO Issued in NJ Carry Killer Suit brought by FPC, SAF, CNJFO, and NJ2AS
In a sign of good things to come, Federal Judge Bumb issued a TRO blocking the State’s enforcement of vast swaths of the newly enacted Carry Killer law. This TRO lets permit holders carry their firearms in public for self-defense to a majority of places they might go on a daily basis.
