A judge signed a court order telling a man to stay away from another man’s property. According to the report, he showed up anyway. That is the problem nobody wants to say out loud: a protective order is not a shield. It does not lock a door, stand in a driveway, or physically stop someone who has already decided the rules do not apply. It works by summoning help after the violation has already started. In this Fort Worth case, police say the homeowner arrived, saw a man he knew already on the property, the two got into a verbal fight, and then both men began shooting. I’m not pretending this is a clean story. I don’t know who drew first. I don’t know what was said before the first round went off. But I do know this: The system already knew there was a problem. The order told him to stay away. He came anyway. That is why your safety plan cannot end with paperwork. Get a gun, learn how to use it, build the cameras, lights, alarm, and awareness around it, and stop believing someone else will always get there before the person who already decided to ignore the rules. Mr. Noah believes that "Well Regulated" in the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution means that U.S. Citizens should be limited to "one gun per hand" in our country. Since you are physically limited to holding 2 guns (one per hand) then why would it be necessary to limit a citizen's right to a certain amount of firearms sitting at home? Not only is he lying directly through his (fake?) teeth, but his own argument refutes itself. Communists like Mr. Noah want you to have ZERO power or control over your own self-defense.
