We’ve seen our share of courts trying to work around the Heller and Bruen Supreme Court decisions. Hawaii’s recent State Supreme Court ruling has to be the most blatantly defiant, almost mocking, ruling we’ve seen thus far.
In an all-too-predictable pattern of events where District-level federal courts interpret Bruen properly and rule in favor of the 2nd Amendment and then the appeals court quickly overturns the lower court’s ruling, Californians just lost out on some great, newly-restored freedom. But the fight is not over.
