You might be surprised to learn that, despite being considered a “free” state, Tennessee law presumes a person to be guilty of a crime for carrying a firearm in public. One assemblyman hopes to change that.

On March 29, the NRA succeeded in obtaining a preliminary injunction against the weaponized ATF’s unlawful and unconstitutional rule demanding that law-abiding, tax-paying citizens relinquish their pistol braces or become felons.

Governor Murphy was so proud to sign the so-called Carry Killer bill into law. The law that makes most of the state, like transportation hubs, off limits to lawful carriers of defensive firearms.
