Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has signed legislation preventing discrimination against the firearms industry.

Wythe County, Virginia, Sheriff Anthony Cline has just done what numerous towns in New Jersey have started doing. That is, supporting the rights of the citizenry by removing unconstitutional and punitive taxes on permits to carry a firearm in public for self defense.

It appears that New Jersey municipalities are saying “enough.” In 2022, a permit-to-carry application in the state skyrocketed to $200 plus other costs. One by one, towns are voting to rebate the $150 portion of that fee back to the applicants in solid support of Second Amendment rights.

Los Angeles, which, before the Bruen ruling, was essentially a no-issue zone when it came to carry permits, is once again being challenged over the arrests of citizens who would’ve otherwise qualified to exercise their Second Amendment right.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit finds that machineguns are considered to be arms under the Second Amendment but somehow finds a way to mention Bruen and other important precedent but still squirm its way into stating that restrictions on this type of arm are OK.

The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled that privately made firearms, also known as “ghost guns,” don’t need serial numbers under state law unless required by federal law. In Minnesota v. Vagle, the Court overturned a conviction, clarifying that only federal mandates apply.

The U.S. territory of Guam has become the first to legalize suppressors for firearms.

In what might be the most outward defiance the U.S. Supreme Court to date, another activist judge defies the Bruen ruling with barely a modicum of lip service.

With taxes on suppressors and short-barreled rifles now removed from the National Firearms Act, the NFA seems ripe for a challenge as to its constitutionality. In what could potentially become a huge win for the Second Amendment, some of the biggest gun-rights groups have banded together to challenge it, with a joint lawsuit.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, which covers Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, has ruled on the constitutionality of firearms prohibition for those who have been committed to a mental institution.

Illinois Governor, J.B. Pritzker, just signed an ineffective and likely unconstitutional bill into law.

The Department of Justice under Pam Bondi has been a mixed bag. This latest move by the DOJ does not favor the Second Amendment or the firearms industry.
