SCOTUS Denies Emergency Application in IL Assault Weapons Ban
Despite anti-gunners’ claims of a victory, it was highly expected and par for the course for the US Supreme Court not to take up matters on interlocutory appeal except in extraordinary circumstances. The Supreme Court recently denied emergency intervention in the case of the Illinois assault weapon and high cap mag ban. As previously reported, SCOTUS is watching this case closely.

In further proving the war against freedom and the 2nd Amendment will never end, the left has just passed a bill in Vermont which was just signed into law by their republican governor. The state of Vermont has just outlawed paramilitary training. What is paramilitary training under this law? Whatever the left says it is.
7th Circuit Court of Appeals Consolidates Gun Ban and Mag Ban Cases
Consolidate, consolidate, consolidate. Before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals is a conglomeration of consolidated cases dealing with recent “high capacity” magazine bans and “assault weapon” bans out of the state of Illinois. The court just further consolidated substantially similar arms ban cases brought about after recent legislation.

It’s good to see that the anti-gun state of Massachusetts finally added some pro-gun panelists to their government-sponsored Gun Law Listening Tour. While we are still not exactly sure what the state expects to accomplish with these popup panels, its good to see the “good guys” finally get some representation.
Justice Barrett Demands Answers In “Assault Weapons” Ban
Continuing an all-too-common trend as of late, another lower court ignored legal precedent set by the US Supreme Court in both the Heller and Bruen cases. The federal district court in Bevis v. Naperville recently fabricated its own “particularly dangerous weapon” test and fully ignored the “in common use” and “dangerous AND unsual” tests. Seems this one might just be headed to the Supreme Court.
2A Win! PI Issued in Illinois Assault Weapons Ban
Today, federal Judge Stephen McGlynn handed a huge victory to the plaintiffs in a now-consolidated case challenging the recently-enacted “assault weapon” ban in Illinois. A preliminary injunction has been issued so that the new law cannot be enforced as the plaintiffs are likely to win on the merits of the case.
Judge Holding Back on Decision, Wants to Hear From Saint Benitez
It seems that all eyes are on Judge Roger “Saint” Benitez at the moment. Judge Benitez is set to rule on multiple cases involving anti-gun, 2nd Amendment infringements. Even other federal judges are awaiting Judge Benitez’s ruling in these cases before they render their own opinions on cases in front of them.
“AR-15s only kill other families” Says WA Governor
There are some states and their leaders that just don’t “get it”. Our state, New Jersey, is definitely one of those. But today, Washington State Governor Inslee had some incredibly ignorant words to say as he signed an assault weapons ban into law. The part they “don’t get” is that they CAN”T ban AR-15s. They will find out very soon.
Nebraska Becomes 27th State To Adopt Constitutional Carry
Continuing the upwards trend of states adopting Constitutional Carry, today Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen signed LB77 into law. This makes Nebraska the 27th state to adopt true permitless carry. Congratulations Nebraska!

Who is Really to Blame for the Sutherland Springs Massacre?
We should never really be surprised by government incompetence or self-contradiction. Sometimes we hear words that shouldn’t surprise us, but they do, leaving us in disbelief that we just heard what we heard. The US government contends that even if they hadn’t failed to report Devin Patrick Kelley to the NICS system, he still would’ve gotten a gun and gone on his rampage. As crazy as that assertion is, at least the government is destroying its own gun control narrative.
