With the rapid growth of gun owners and Second Amendment advocacy groups nationwide, 2026 is gearing up to be a busy year. From major conventions in Massachusetts and New Hampshire on the East Coast to high-profile gatherings in Iowa, Tennessee, and Texas – and dozens of local events in between – this year’s calendar offers something for everyone.

We often note that many gun owners tend to sit on the sidelines. Here’s your opportunity to change that: get involved, connect with like-minded individuals, and make your voice heard. Mark your calendars – we hope to see you there!

April

Date: April 16-19, 2026
Event: NRA Annual Meeting and Exhibition
Location: Houston, Texas
Details: The NRA Annual Meeting and Exhibition is the largest annual gathering of NRA members, featuring over 14 acres of exhibits, seminars, celebrity events, family-friendly activities, and the Annual Meeting of Members. It’s billed as the “ultimate freedom weekend” and a key event for the gun rights community.

Date: April 23, 2026
Event: Tennessee Firearms Foundation Charity Fundraiser with John Rich
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Details: In conjunction with country music star and Second Amendment advocate John Rich, the Tennessee Firearms Foundation will hold a charity fundraiser, the proceeds from which will go to fight for Second Amendment rights in this state. The Tennessee Firearms Foundation, Inc. (a 501c3 charity) exists to help inform people regarding the truth concerning the state of Tennessee’s “unconstitutional” gun laws and to bring public interest lawsuits in local, state, and federal cases to challenge those laws. Since January 2025, they have handled two lawsuits within Tennessee and joined in on more than 15 federal amicus briefs on a variety of topics.

Date: May 30, 2026
Event: New England Firearms Advocacy Conference
Location: Chicopee, Massachusetts
Details: Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA), in conjunction with their New England partners – Connecticut Citizens Defense League, Massachusetts Gun Owners’ Action League, Gun Owners of Maine, New Hampshire Firearms Coalition, Rhode Island 2nd Amendment Coalition, and Vermont Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs – will host their inaugural Firearms Advocacy Conference. The docket of speakers will include Second Amendment giants, legislators, attorneys, and content creators. Details in their press release.

Date: June 6, 2026
Event: National Women’s Range Day
Location: Epping, New Hampshire
Details: National Women’s Range Day – sponsored by Gun Owners Foundation – will be hosted at the world-renowned Sig Sauer Academy and Experience Center and brings together the GOF coalition of female firearms enthusiasts. It will feature leading instructors, advocates, and influencers from across the nation to deliver a full-spectrum empowerment experience for women. Attendees will participate in live-fire training, Stop the Bleed training, self-defense instruction, and Second Amendment advocacy education – all designed to build confidence, skills, and a stronger voice for freedom.

August

Date: August 1-2, 2026
Event: Gun Owners Advocacy and Leadership Summit (GOALS)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Details: Celebrating Gun Owners of America’s 50 years of “no compromise” advocacy, GOALS includes a large exhibit hall (over 150,000 sq ft), top speakers, panels, workshops, meetups, and celebrations of legal victories. It’s a community-driven event emphasizing grassroots activism and industry partnerships.

September

Date: September 25-27, 2026
Event: Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC)
Location: Dallas, Texas
Details: Co-sponsored by Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA), the 41st annual event for strategy, panels, legal updates, and networking is free for all attendees, but donations are welcome. Details here.

Date: September 25, 2026
Event: Alternative Mass Media Conference (AMM-Con)
Location: Dallas, Texas
Details: Held in conjunction with the GRPC Conference, the Alternative Mass Media Conference (AMM-Con) is a gathering for those interested in reporting on Second Amendment-related topics. AMM-Con’s focus is to enable participants to get started on or improve on their craft as established or budding alternative media personalities. AMM-Con is welcoming to all forms of media creators: conventional journalists, bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, writers, radio personalities, etc. Details here.
